Last Christmas, I sketched my brother sitting reading. A little later I took the sketch and decided I wanted to set it on a Sunday morning, with him sitting with the sun coming in over his shoulders, plants by his side and a book on his lap. I try and use my Sunday mornings for sketching, and I love the feeling of knowing I have the whole day free.
