When I play the guitar, I feel calm and very in-the-moment, not really able to think about anything else. I feel that this man might be dealing with some heartbreak, but by playing his guitar in the lamplight he is able to forget about it for a while, and become lost in his music. He’s not playing for anyone else; just for himself.
